High school diploma required. 10+ years of insurance-related actuarial experience required. 2+ years of direct experience with reinsurance required. FSA designation required. Fixed Indexed Annuity experience required and extensive knowledge of US GAAP FAS 133 and US Statutory Actuarial Guideline 33/35. Demonstrated mastery of insurance/products and very knowledgeable on industry info. Recognized as an internal expert in a variety of company, industry, and regulatory actuarial issues. Registered Indexed Annuity Experience Preferred. Exceptional technical and digital literacy, including use of sophisticated spreadsheets, PowerPoint, and data management tools. Excellent communication skills, with experience presenting to executive management. Proven ability to lead, empower, and handle actuarial functions and large teams remotely and across varying time zones. Strong problem-solving skills, with a high degree of accuracy and strong process organization. Proven dedication to professional development. Actuarial Modeling software and asset modeling experience preferred.
